Mike Luby, Founder, President & CEO
Mike Luby is the Founder of HCP Concierge and serves as our President & CEO. Mike has worked in pharmaceutical marketing and sales since 1990, and began his journey as an entrepreneur in 2000.
In addition to his role at HCP Concierge, Mike is currently the Founder and CEO of Fonseca Biosciences and BioPharma Alliance. Previously, he co-founded TargetRx, a leading pharmaceutical database and analytics company focused on helping pharmaceutical companies understand the drivers of their sales and marketing efforts. During his ten years at TargetRx, the Company succeeded in raising over $50 million in capital, securing clients in the majority of the top 30 pharmaceutical companies worldwide and delivering over $120 million in revenue on a cumulative basis. Mike is the lead author on TargetRx’s patented method of analyzing the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Mike has been honored with the Philadelphia Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” award and selected by PharmaVOICE as one of the “100 most inspiring people in life sciences.” Under his leadership, TargetRx was recognized by the Eastern Technology Council with the Enterprise Award for “Growth Company of the Year.”
Prior to his career as an entrepreneur, Mike spent 10 years at Merck & Co., Inc., where he created and executed marketing strategies for both specialty and mass-market drugs. As head of worldwide marketing for 2 late stage, pre-launch products at Merck, Mike spearheaded global strategy and launch planning. He also served as director of new product marketing, managing the marketing strategy of early-stage drug development candidates and evaluating the potential of in-licensing opportunities from biotech companies. Mike’s previous roles included senior marketing manager for Fosamax, marketing analyst for Vasotec and Prilosec, as well as positions focusing on marketing to managed care customers in an assignment at Merck-Medco Managed Care. Mike began his career at Merck in sales.

Ron Pasko, Senior Vice President of Business Development
Ron is an accomplished Pharmaceutical and Life Science Services Executive who brings 26 years of commercialization and business development experience to HCP Concierge. Ron most recently served as the Vice President, Business Development, Commercial and Contract Sales Services for PDI-Inc., a leading provider of outsourced contract sales teams and commercial services for biopharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostics companies. During his tenure, Ron developed nearly one hundred custom Contract Sales Organization “CSO” solutions for clients across all phases of the product life-cycle. He was also responsible for the commercial build-out and launch of PDI-BioPharma, LLC., the full- service product commercialization subsidiary of PDI, Inc., where he consulted with clients on strategic investment and operating decisions of lead asset commercialization through the development of comprehensive commercial and financial plans. Prior to PDI, Mr. Pasko held senior business development and marketing roles with Cardinal Health, Target Rx, Pharmacia, and Knoll Pharmaceuticals.

Steve Simpson, Senior Vice President of Business Development
Steve understands the complexities of executing commercial strategies in today’s healthcare environment and brings nearly 30 years of business development, client service, and management experience to HCP Concierge. Steve most recently served as Senior Director of Business Development at IQVIA where he supported biopharma, medical device, and diagnostics clients within the Contract Sales and Medical Solutions business unit. Prior to joining IQVIA, Steve served clients across a broad range of functional areas including pre-clinical bioinformatics, procurement, and digital marketing as well as sales and marketing effectiveness research and consulting. Prior to moving into the biopharma services sector, Steve served in sales and sales training capacities at Wyeth.

Alex Cartwright, Vice President of Operations
Alex Cartwright is the Vice President of Operations at HCP Concierge. Alex has been with the Company since our first day in the field calling on HCPs. He currently manages the Company’s operations, client services and analytics functions.
Alex joined the Company in January 2014 as a member of the Company’s first team of Service Specialists, located in Pittsburgh, PA. Alex distinguished himself in the field, playing an instrumental role in the development of the Company’s standards and best practices, helping the Company to solidify its position from the the start of our execution. Following his tenure in the field as a Service Specialist, Alex was promoted to Regional Manager, where through a series of rotations, he managed at different times almost every region in the country. In his subsequent positions, Alex has coupled his field experience with his technological savvy to be the driving force behind the development and implementation of the Company’s business operations. He has led the efforts to “in-source” several critical business functions, managing a hybrid operations team that leverages a mix of trusted third-party solutions with proprietary methods to develop and safeguard intellectual property for the Company. Since our inception, he has been responsible for the development and implementation of several company infrastructural components and continues that mission in his current role.
